Access Aspiration, a Mayor’s Fund for London employability programme, links young people and employers and is designed to provide high-quality careers support and guidance for 16 to 18-year-olds. Access Aspiration commissioned Bean Research to review their social impact assessment. Acting as a guide on the side by making recommendations to their outcomes and Theory of Change, considering improvements that could be made to the delivery, alongside advising on how best to gather longitudinal data.
This has developed into reviewing the wider impact assessment and strategy of Mayor’s Fund for London, looking across its portfolio of programmes with charitable activities focused on wellbeing, skills and employment and enterprise. To provide recommendations for revitalising an organisational approach to social impact that can be deployed and adapted for the future development of the programmes and clarify the social value created by the Mayor’s Fund for London.
“Bean Research has delivered an evaluation & review that we can start implementing straight away. It’s been a pleasure working with them. Bean has extensive research rigour balanced with practical application – communicating research in everyday terms.”
Angela Law, Director of Education and Employability, Mayor’s Fund for London
