Business in the Community, in partnership with Santander UK, undertook a ground breaking project to explore the organisational barriers and better define the enablers for men with caring responsibilities.

Bean Research supported the commissioning and academic research teams throughout the research, as well as collating and writing the published report.

“Bean Research stepped in to support us with a high-profile research project exploring the attitudes and behaviours of 10,000 employees on work and care.  Charlotte Turner, Bean Research’s Founder, was instrumental in managing our research partner, ensuring that the academic research would balance the needs of the campaign and that of our sponsors and facilitating productive conversations between parties.  She re-wrote the survey questionnaire so that it would be both accessible and appealing to the public, securing a sample of over 10,000 employees across sectors and industries. In a very short turnaround, she turned two long and dry academic reports into a short and user-friendly and easy to read business report. She managed to translate complex thinking and hard data into a compelling story that would do justice to our research findings and compel people to act.”

“Charlotte had a really positive influence on our team in a difficult time and I can honestly say that her can-do attitude, complete dedication, out-of-hours availability and can-do attitude made a huge difference and hugely contributed to the success of the report and of our campaign.”
