We have always striven to have high standards of social & environmental performance and a few years ago changed our legal articles of association to recognise the interests of the Bean team, the community, and the environment.
And we now been through the rigorous audit and have been accredited as a B Lab UK mission-driven organisation!!
It’s quite a process, but it’s all about evidencing how social impact drives how we operate (not just what we evaluate), and has reinforced how important it is that we drive (and not just evidence) change. In fact, our audit revealed that 83% of Bean clients report changed practices, policies or greater social impact as a direct result of our work.
