With a Master’s in Management and Corporate Sustainability from Cranfield University, Bethan has a keen understanding of the intricate relationship between business and society. Her academic focus on social impact reporting has equipped her with the tools to quantify and communicate social value effectively, making her a valuable asset to any team committed to making a difference.
Bethan’s academic career reflects a deep commitment to social responsibility, showcased by her role in the Unilever Innovation Accelerator Challenge, where she contributed to the winning solutions aimed at uplifting deprived communities and winning the Directors Prize.
She joined Bean in 2022 after advising fashion brands on sustainable sourcing and ethical supply chains and delivering measurable outcomes in procurement and project management in the luxury fashion sector.
Since then, she has taken on pivotal roles at Bean Research, where she has led social value initiatives for high-profile clients, including CityFibre and Offploy, and helped guide strategies that maximise social return on investment (SROI).
Key certifications back her skills, including Level 1 Associate Practitioner status with the Institute of Social Value UK, a Green Belt in Lean Six Sigma, and GRI Certified. These credentials demonstrate her dedication to data-driven analysis and continuous improvement, ensuring that each project she undertakes delivers measurable outcomes.
