Access Aspiration, a Mayor’s Fund for London employability programme linking young people and employers designed to provide high-quality careers support and guidance for 16–18-year-olds, commissioned Bean Research to review Access Aspiration’s social impact assessment. Acting as a guide on the side by making recommendations to their outcomes and Theory of Change and considering improvements that could be made to the delivery, alongside advising on how best to gather longitudinal data.

This has developed into reviewing the wider impact assessment and strategy of Mayor’s Fund for London, looking across its portfolio of programmes with charitable activities focused on wellbeing, skills and employment and enterprise. To provide recommendations for revitalising an organisational approach to social impact that can be deployed and adapted for the future development of the programmes and clarify the social value created by the Mayor’s Fund for London.
