A five year project, with three waves of research investigating private sector disaster relief policies and processes through both qualitative and quantitative research among 100 businesses and NGOs operating in this space. This waved tracking enabled us to report the key issues and challenges, feeding into the development of the programme, as well as report back on the overall impact of the Business in the Community’s International Disaster management programme, supported by the Department for International Development (DFID).
“Bean Research came on board at the beginning of our five-year International Disaster Relief programme supported by DFID. Their development of research among both NGOs and businesses enabled us to understand the impact of our programme in galvanising, connecting and challenging both business and the disaster relief sector to ensure more effective and prepared disaster management across the private sector.”
